The 0.39 carat, Natural Ceylon Sapphire has vivid saturation, and excellent VS clarity with no visible inclusions, and is a glowing bright-cornflower-blue color! Photos are taken under professional lighting and are magnified at 50x zoom to show details that may not be visible to the naked eye. Accenting the rare gemstone are 1.25-1.50mm round brilliant cut, natural Diamond accents (28 total) that are H color with VS2-SI1 clarity and weigh a combined total of 0.35 carats. The ring is clearly hallmarked 14K and the designer hallmark LEVIAN on the inside of the 2.00mm band. When worn, the top of the ring/stone is elevated about 4.50mm from the finger.

On the Mohs scale of hardness, Ceylon sapphires come in at 9, which is very close to diamonds, which rank at 10. This makes sapphires highly desirable gems for jewelry, since people want gems with durability. Considered to be the best sapphires today are the ones mined in Sri Lanka. The blue sapphires from Sri Lanka, now referred to as Ceylon Sapphires (and Sri-Lankan Sapphires) are known for being lighter, brighter, and more vivid than the dark blue sapphires that come from other countries. Sapphires are seen as the guardians of love. When given as a gift, sapphires enhance love and tunes your spirits to one another. Also, they have been used to banish envy and jealousy as well as promote fidelity in marriage.

**Currently a size 7 but could be sized, free of charge, by my master jeweler so that it is ready to be gifted or worn upon arrival! Most rings can be sized a maximum of 3-4 sizes up or down depending on the style of the ring. Please indicate your desired size at checkout and allow up to 10 business days for my local expert jeweler to complete sizing. I do not accept returns on items that have been custom sized or altered at your request so if you are unsure about an item it may be best to have it sized by your local jeweler just in case.

Payment is due by the same day each month but can pay early at anytime. If the layaway is cancelled during the terms or if the item is returned there is a 20% restocking fee due to relisting fees, listing fees and lost potential sales. If the item is resized or if the payments are delinquent the item is non returnable. 

Items purchased before 5pm are usually shipped same day unless customization or resizing was requested. Items are securely packaged, shipped via USPS with signature-required tracking, and sent directly to the customer for enjoyment. Appraisals available at customers’ request.
